EPSTEIN VICTIM DESCRIBES DINNERS AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE APARTMENTS
Sarah Kellen, a victim of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has told the United States House Oversight Committee that she attended dinner in the private apartments of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor at Buckingham Palace. Kellen also stated she was present at Princess Beatrice's 18th birthday party at Windsor Castle in 2006. Her testimony marks the first time a woman sexually abused and trafficked by Epstein has publicly spoken of attending royal residences. Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his royal title following allegations linked to his friendship with Epstein, has consistently denied any wrongdoing. Kellen stated she witnessed no inappropriate behaviour from Mountbatten-Windsor during their interactions.
Kellen's testimony was released in transcript form at the end of last month, following her appearance before the committee. She told House representatives that she worked for Epstein and was sexually and psychologically abused by him for over a decade. She confirmed she has received compensation from Epstein's estate, a fund established for survivors that required corroborating evidence of abuse. Kellen also told the committee she was sexually abused by Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's associate who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking. She further stated that she was sexually abused by three additional associates of Epstein.
The House Oversight Committee is conducting a congressional investigation into Epstein, who died in a New York prison in 2019 whilst awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Kellen described Maxwell as having shaped Epstein's lifestyle and behaviour, telling the committee Maxwell introduced him to private planes and a townhouse. Epstein was serving a prison sentence in 2008 for soliciting sex from a minor. The committee hearing formed part of a broader effort to examine the network of individuals connected to Epstein.
