BOOTS LAUNCHES £35 KOREAN AND JAPANESE SKINCARE BOX
Boots has released a limited-edition K+J Beauty Skin Edit priced at £35, with the retailer claiming the contents have a combined value of £140 or more. The box contains nine products from Korean and Japanese skincare brands including Beauty of Joseon, Dr Jart+, Haruharu Wonder, Biodance, Purito and Curél. According to Boots, the offer represents a saving of approximately 75% on the combined recommended retail prices of the individual items.
A standout product in the box is the Dr Reju-All Advanced PDRN Rejuvenating Cream, valued at between £25 and £25.90. The cream is formulated with PDRN, Niacinamide, Panthenol, Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid. Boots stated that the cream sold over one million units in six months in Korea, often selling out in local pharmacies. The box also includes the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream, valued at £15, and Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads, a 60-pack retailing for £20.
Boots reported that sales of Korean skincare products increased more than fivefold over the past year, with the retailer claiming one Korean skincare product sold every 11 seconds during that period. The box is described as a return of Boots' K-beauty offering with a fresh update for summer. Reports suggest the limited-edition box is likely to sell out quickly.
