BRENTFORD ALLOW HENDERSON TO TERMINATE CONTRACT

Brentford have confirmed Jordan Henderson's departure from the club, permitting him to terminate his contract ahead of a move to Chelsea. Henderson had one year remaining on his Brentford deal at the time of the termination. The transfer will see him join Chelsea on a free transfer.

The midfielder's exit from Brentford clears the final administrative hurdle in moving to Stamford Bridge. Henderson's contract termination represents an agreement between player and club to end their relationship early, allowing him to pursue the Chelsea opportunity without a transfer fee changing hands.

The move concludes Henderson's time at Brentford and completes the process for his arrival at Chelsea. Further details regarding the timing of his registration at the London club and any contractual terms at Stamford Bridge are awaited.
