FANCODE SECURES DELHI PREMIER LEAGUE STREAMING RIGHTS

TUE 28 JUL 2026 FOOTBALL

FanCode, a digital streaming platform owned by Dream Sports, has secured exclusive streaming rights for the 2026 Delhi Premier League (DPL), covering all 57 matches across the tournament's men's and women's competitions. The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) organised the league, which will run from 31 July to 2 September. The men's competition will feature eight franchises playing 44 matches, whilst the women's tournament comprises four teams contesting 13 fixtures.

The DPL established itself as one of India's fastest-growing state-based Twenty20 competitions since its launch in 2024. The third edition will feature several established Indian domestic and Indian Premier League players, including Nitish Rana, Harshit Rana, Ayush Badoni, Navdeep Saini, Suyash Sharma, Kulwant Khejroliya, Mayank Yadav, Prince Yadav and Priyansh Arya. FanCode described the acquisition as reinforcing its strategy of building a diversified rights portfolio spanning domestic and international sport.

A FanCode spokesperson stated the platform is "thrilled to bring every match — men's and women's — to fans across the country" and highlighted that the 57 matches would be delivered over five weeks. The deal follows FanCode's broader investment in Indian domestic cricket, expanding the platform's offering of premium sports properties to viewers nationwide.
