FOURTH HEATWAVE FORECAST FOR BRITAIN WITH 35C TEMPERATURES

TUE 28 JUL 2026

A fourth heatwave is expected to affect Britain, with temperatures forecast to reach 35 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has raised amber heat health alerts in response to the approaching conditions. Wildfire concerns have been flagged for regions experiencing drought conditions.

The heatwave represents the fourth such weather event to affect the country during the summer period. Amber alerts indicate a heightened risk to public health during the period of elevated temperatures. Regions already affected by drought face particular concern regarding the potential for wildfires during the hot spell.

The alerts remain in place as forecasters monitor the developing weather pattern. Residents in affected areas have been advised to take precautions during the period of high temperatures. Public health authorities continue to monitor conditions across the country.
