Pete Wicks has publicly confirmed his relationship with Olivia Attwood after sharing photographs from a holiday in Ibiza on Instagram earlier this month. The images showed the pair kissing and cuddling on a yacht, with Wicks captioning the post "I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA". Wicks discussed his decision to make the relationship public during an appearance on the Staying Relevant podcast, stating he had discussed the timing with Attwood beforehand. He said his primary concern when posting was not to embarrass her.

Attwood, a former Love Island contestant, separated from her husband Bradley Dack earlier this year after two years of marriage. Fans had speculated about a relationship between Wicks and Attwood for months, though neither had publicly confirmed their relationship status prior to the Instagram post. Wicks told podcast co-host Sam Thompson that he had overthought the decision to share the photographs. Thompson noted that Attwood had previously appeared on the Staying Relevant podcast.

During the podcast conversation, Wicks and Thompson discussed whether Attwood would appear on their show or Wicks would appear on hers. Wicks stated that despite the relationship now being public, he wished to keep certain aspects of his private life private, suggesting "maybe we shouldn't do the podcast". Thompson responded that they had time to make such decisions. The pair's public confirmation followed reports of them holidaying together in the south of France last month.
