TYREEK HILL REPORTS NO POWER IN LEFT LEG TEN MONTHS AFTER SURGERY
Tyreek Hill has disclosed that he has no power in his left leg approximately ten months after undergoing two surgeries to recover from a knee injury sustained during the 2025 NFL season. The wide receiver shared the update in a YouTube video, stating that he has been working to regain strength through activation exercises targeting his quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings and calves, alongside stability and mobility work. Hill said he believes he is approximately one and a half months away from running at full capacity. He is currently a free agent and is not expected to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season.
Hill suffered the injury in Week 4 of the 2025 season when he caught a pass near the sideline against the New York Jets and was brought down by Jets rookie defensive back Malachi Moore. In the recovery video, Hill revealed that doctors had told him he might never run again. He demonstrated various rehabilitation exercises, including pool workouts, push-offs, sprinting on a basketball court, wall sit-ups and cardio work. Hill stated that he is determined to prove medical scepticism wrong and return to his previous level of performance.
Hill has publicised his recovery progress on social media, posting on Instagram about "the comeback" whilst sharing footage from his YouTube update. The ten-year NFL veteran has been attempting to convince NFL teams to sign him despite remaining sidelined from competition. Hill previously played for the Miami Dolphins before becoming available as a free agent.
