O'NEILL'S OPENS BIRMINGHAM PUB AFTER £1M REFURBISHMENT
O'Neill's has opened a new Irish pub on Cannon Street in Birmingham city centre following a £1m refurbishment of the former Windsor pub. The venue, referred to as O'Neill's New Street, has been expanded to include its second floor for the first time in several years. Marianne Malthouse, general manager at O'Neill's New Street, said the opening was "such a fantastic project to be a part of" and expressed enthusiasm about welcoming guests to experience the new facilities.
The pub offers live music three nights a week, big screen sport coverage, food service and Guinness on tap. The venue features four Arrowsmith electronic dartboards available for advance booking, with three positioned upstairs and one accessible dartboard on the ground floor. Located at 33 Cannon Street, B2 5EE, the pub is situated on a road off the busy New Street thoroughfare in the city centre.
O'Neill's operates multiple venues across the UK as part of the wider hospitality sector. The opening marks an expansion of the brand's presence in Birmingham's city centre and demonstrates continued investment in the region's pub and bar economy.
