FICO BECOMES OFFICIAL PARTNER OF MI LONDON FOR HUNDRED
MI London have announced a partnership with software company FICO ahead of their inaugural season under their new identity. FICO branding will appear on players' caps and the back of helmets during The Hundred tournament. Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed. Oli Slipper, Chair of MI London, stated the franchise was "thrilled to join forces with FICO this season".
The partnership expands FICO's presence across the Mumbai Indians global franchise network. The company already partners MI New York in Major League Cricket and MI Cape Town in South Africa's SA20 league. MI London was established following Reliance Industries-backed Mumbai Indians' acquisition of a 49% stake in the former Oval Invincibles franchise. The club's commercial portfolio also includes partnerships with Sokin, Castore and BKT Tyres.
MI London began their first season under the new identity by playing SunRisers Leeds Women at The Kia Oval. The match resulted in a seven-wicket victory for SunRisers Leeds Women. Both franchises underwent name changes following significant overseas investment in The Hundred competition.
