NITHYA RAMAN CLOSES GAP ON SPENCER PRATT IN LOS ANGELES MAYORAL RACE

Nithya Raman has taken the lead over Spencer Pratt in the latest vote count in the Los Angeles mayoral race. The gap between the two candidates has narrowed significantly as ballot counting continues. Pratt has expressed frustration publicly over the pace at which votes are being tallied. Federal authorities have opened a probe connected to the race, though details of its scope remain limited to confirmed reporting.

The contest to determine a challenger to incumbent Mayor Karen Bass remains unresolved as counting proceeds. Raman and Pratt are competing for the position that would place the winner against Bass in the next stage of the electoral process. The slow count has drawn attention to Los Angeles's vote-tallying procedures. Pratt's public comments reflect growing impatience among some candidates and observers with the timeline involved.

The federal investigation adds a further dimension to an already closely watched race. The identity of Bass's ultimate opponent has not yet been confirmed, as the vote count continues to shift. The outcome of the Raman-Pratt contest will determine which candidate faces the incumbent mayor. No final result has been declared, and counting is ongoing.
