DAVE PORTNOY DEFENDS CAITLIN CLARK AGAINST KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, defended Caitlin Clark following comments made by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar about the Indiana Fever star. Portnoy characterised Abdul-Jabbar's remarks as "steeped in jealousy and stupidity" in his response.

The exchange occurred amid ongoing debate surrounding Clark's role in the WNBA. Alyssa Thomas received a Flagrant 2 foul and a one-game suspension in an incident involving Clark, prompting discussion about player safety and Clark's prominence in the league.
