WEST INDIES COMPLETE 3-0 ODI SERIES WIN OVER IRELAND
West Indies completed a 3-0 one-day international series victory over Ireland with a 64-run win in Bready. Ireland batted second after losing the coin toss and were dismissed for 193 in 43.1 overs. West Indies had posted 257 all out in their 50 overs. The result gave West Indies an unbeaten series record across all three matches.
Stafanie Taylor scored 105 off 113 deliveries for West Indies, marking her second century of the series. She anchored West Indies' innings as the tourists reached 257 all out. Karishma Ramharack took three wickets for West Indies, dismissing Aimee Maguire leg before wicket for 13. Orla Prendergast, Georgina Dempsey and Jane Maguire claimed two wickets each for Ireland in the West Indies innings.
Ireland captain Gaby Lewis made 50 off 59 balls, hitting seven fours and two sixes, but failed to build a winning platform. Her side fell well short of West Indies' total. The series defeat marks a clean sweep loss for the hosts across the three-match ODI sequence.
