KEIR STARMER RECEIVES STANDING OVATION AT FINAL PRIME MINISTER'S QUESTIONS

Keir Starmer received a standing ovation from Members of Parliament during his final Prime Minister's Questions session. The ovation occurred as Starmer said goodbye to the House of Commons. The session took place in the chamber on a date reported by the BBC two hours before publication.

Prime Minister's Questions is a weekly parliamentary fixture in which the sitting Prime Minister answers questions from MPs. The tradition allows Members to pose questions on matters of government policy and administration. Standing ovations at the conclusion of a Prime Minister's final session are customary parliamentary practice, though not guaranteed.

The BBC published video of Starmer's full final answer during the session. The timing and circumstances of Starmer's departure from the role of Prime Minister are not specified in the available source material.
