EASYJET PASSENGERS CAN NOW USE MANCHESTER AIRPORT PRIVATE TERMINAL
EasyJet passengers can now book access to Manchester Airport's private terminal, the airline has announced. The facility offers private check-in, exclusive security screening, lounge access and chauffeur-driven transfers to the aircraft gate. Passengers with checked luggage must pay £199 per person for the inclusive package, which became available following EasyJet's addition to the terminal's partner airline list. The private terminal also serves arriving passengers at the same price point.
The terminal, known as aether, opened in November 2024 in a separate building from Terminals 2 and 3. All passengers can access the facility from £199 per person with cabin baggage only, though checked luggage requires partnership with the terminal's participating airlines. When aether launched, partner airlines included British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Hainan Airlines, SAS, Turkish Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. EasyJet has now joined this list of carriers offering the service to their customers.
The £199 package grants passengers access to exclusive check-in and security facilities, use of the aether lounge, and dining curated by chef Adam Reid, a two-time Great British Menu winner. Alcoholic and soft drinks are included, and lounge capacity is limited to ensure privacy. For departing passengers, chauffeurs transport guests directly to their boarding gate; arriving passengers are collected at their aircraft and driven to the terminal for streamlined passport control.
