EVERTON SIGN FRANCE FORWARD MOUCHON ON FREE TRANSFER FROM LEICESTER

Everton have completed the signing of forward Noemie Mouchon from Leicester City on a free transfer. The 23-year-old France international joins after two seasons with Leicester, during which the club was relegated from the Women's Super League in May. Mouchon made 24 appearances for Leicester and scored twice during her time in the WSL.

Mouchon began her professional career at Lille before spending a year at fellow French club Reims prior to joining Leicester. She described herself as a fast player with a goal-scoring focus. In a statement, Mouchon said she felt "really excited" to begin with Everton and that scoring goals represented her primary objective with the club.

The signing represents Everton's continued recruitment activity in the women's game. The club is also reported to be pursuing a permanent deal for another player, Blundell, according to separate reporting.
