NEW ZEALAND PREPARE FOR UNBEATEN IRELAND IN AUCKLAND TEST

New Zealand head coach Dave Rennie stated his players recognise Ireland's capabilities ahead of Saturday's Nations Championship match at Eden Park in Auckland. Both teams arrive undefeated, with Ireland registering two bonus-point victories and New Zealand winning against Italy and France. Ireland have never won at Eden Park and will attempt to end New Zealand's 52-game unbeaten run at the venue.

Rennie told media that Ireland's coaching, skill level and set-piece strength present substantial challenges. He highlighted Ireland scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park as a key target, noting the importance of preventing him from playing on the front foot. The New Zealand coach acknowledged Eden Park's historical advantage whilst cautioning that past success provides no guarantee, referencing Ireland's series victory during their previous tour of the country.

Ireland remain unbeaten across six games, with Andy Farrell's side demonstrating consistency throughout the competition. New Zealand have not lost a Test at Eden Park since 1994, when France defeated them at the venue. Rennie emphasised the need for proper preparation and mindset as New Zealand seek to maintain their home record against an Irish team capable of competing at the highest level.
