ENGLAND FACE FIJI AT EVERTON STADIUM IN RARE NORTHERN FIXTURE

England's men's rugby union team will travel to Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium to face Fiji in a Nations Championship match. The fixture marks an uncommonly infrequent visit to the north of England for the national team. England enters the match seeking to avoid a sixth successive Test defeat, according to reporting on the squad.

The Guardian has identified two debutants of interest to the England coaching staff: Van Rensburg and Caluori. Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium will host the international fixture. The rarity of England playing international rugby union matches in the north is noted as significant context for this particular Nations Championship encounter.

England's head coach Steve Borthwick will lead the team into the match. The fixture represents an opportunity for the national side to halt its run of consecutive Test losses. Confirmed squad details and match scheduling remain subject to official team announcements.
