MOLLIE KING AND STUART BROAD JOIN CELEBRITY GOGGLEBOX

Radio 1 DJ Mollie King and cricketer Stuart Broad have announced they will appear on Celebrity Gogglebox, the Channel 4 programme in which celebrities are filmed watching television. The pair made the announcement via Instagram, posting a short video in which they invited viewers to join them on the show. Both stated they had been watching television and invited audiences to tune in on Friday at 9pm. The announcement comes weeks after King collapsed on her bathroom floor and struck her head, resulting in hospitalisation.

King, 39, stated at the time of her collapse that the incident came as a shock and expressed gratitude that Broad, 40, was present when she fell. She took time away from her radio presenting duties following the incident. The couple's appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox marks King's return to public-facing work following her recovery. Their followers responded positively to the announcement in the comments section of the Instagram post, with several expressing enthusiasm for their participation.

Also returning to the show in tonight's episode are Strictly Come Dancing judges Craig Revel-Horwood and Anton Du Beke, who posted a similar announcement video stating they could not wait to return. Channel 4's official Celebrity Gogglebox account shared the announcement, describing King and Broad as "brand new faces" joining the line-up of celebrities participating in the programme.
