RAIDERS QB MENDOZA COMPARES HEAD COACH KUBIAK TO COLLEGE MENTOR CIGNETTI

Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza has outlined the similarities he observes between head coach Klint Kubiak and Curt Cignetti, his former coach at Indiana. Mendoza was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders with the first overall pick. The quarterback detailed key traits shared between the two coaches in recent comments to media.

ESPN's Eric Kaplan stated that the Raiders had "upgraded" their quarterback room through the addition of Mendoza. The Raiders organisation regarded the draft selection as a significant acquisition for their offensive future. Mendoza's college career at Indiana preceded his move to professional football with Las Vegas.

Mendoza remains unsigned by the Raiders, according to available records. The quarterback has drawn mixed evaluations from analysts since his draft selection. The status of his contract negotiations with the organisation remains unresolved at present.
