WED 08 JUL 2026 ENERGY

Quinbrook UK and Ireland has closed its Renewables Impact Fund II following investor commitments totalling £587 million, exceeding its £500 million target. The fund will support renewable energy projects across the UK and Ireland. According to Quinbrook, the investments will advance decarbonisation efforts, improve energy supply security, and provide grid support services across both nations.

The oversubscribed fund attracted backing from multiple investors committed to renewable energy infrastructure. Quinbrook stated that the capital will be deployed across a portfolio of projects designed to support the energy transition in the region. The fund's closure marks completion of the fundraising phase, with deployment of capital to follow.

Quinbrook indicated that the investments will contribute to decarbonisation objectives whilst strengthening energy infrastructure resilience. The fund's focus on grid support reflects growing attention to balancing renewable energy integration with grid stability requirements. Deployment of the £587 million is now expected to commence as projects are identified and developed across the UK and Ireland.
