SAMSUNG ANNOUNCES JULY UNPACKED EVENT IN LONDON

Samsung has scheduled its summer Galaxy Unpacked keynote for 22 July in London. The company will unveil its latest Galaxy innovations, according to a statement released by Samsung. Recent marketing materials teased a rectangular shape, suggesting new device designs will feature prominently at the event.

The Unpacked event typically showcases Samsung's latest foldable devices. The company currently produces the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, and reports suggest both devices will receive refreshed versions with updated processors. Reports also indicate Samsung may introduce additional devices, including a wider foldable model with a 7.6-inch inner display and a 4:3 aspect ratio, as well as Galaxy smart glasses.

Samsung's event occurs several months before Apple's autumn keynote, giving the company a platform to demonstrate its foldable technology leadership. The company has previously released the Galaxy Z TriFold, which featured a tablet-sized display. Samsung stated it will present devices that "build on its leadership in foldables, combining intelligent capabilities and new form factors to deliver more personal, adaptive experiences and set a new standard for the AI era."
