DONOVAN MITCHELL AGREES £273M EXTENSION WITH CAVALIERS

Donovan Mitchell has agreed to a four-year, $273 million maximum contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to his agent. The extension includes a player option for the 2030-31 season. Mitchell will remain with the Cavaliers under the terms of the deal.

Mitchell made the All-Star team in each of his four seasons with the Cavaliers prior to agreeing the extension. The agreement represents one of the largest contracts in NBA history. The financial terms secure Mitchell's future with the franchise through the 2030-31 campaign at minimum.

The extension confirms Mitchell's commitment to the Cavaliers' roster construction going forward. No date has been announced for when the contract extension will become official. The agreement marks a significant commitment from both the player and the franchise to their continued partnership.
