NSW FACES QUEENSLAND IN STATE OF ORIGIN DECIDER AT BRISBANE

New South Wales will contest the decisive third game of the 2026 State of Origin series against Queensland at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The Blues face the Maroons with the series level, requiring victory on Queensland turf to claim the trophy. Historical precedent suggests the task is achievable, though playing away from home presents a significant challenge.

State of Origin matches at Suncorp Stadium have previously been won by visiting teams, demonstrating that success in Brisbane remains possible for NSW. The venue hosts one of rugby league's most hostile environments, with Queensland holding substantial home-ground advantage throughout the series. The Maroons have established a strong record at the ground in recent years, adding to the difficulty of NSW's position.

NSW supporters face uncertainty heading into the decider, though the Blues retain mathematical possibility of claiming the series. The outcome will be determined by performance on the day, with both teams possessing the quality to prevail. The winner of game three will be crowned State of Origin champions for 2026.
