BINURA FERNANDO JOINS NOTTS OUTLAWS FOR T20 BLAST

Binura Fernando has joined Nottinghamshire Outlaws for the remainder of their T20 Blast campaign. The Sri Lanka seamer replaces Mohammad Ali in the squad. Fernando will be available for selection immediately as Notts Outlaws continue their tournament participation.

Nottinghamshire Outlaws compete in England's domestic T20 competition, which runs throughout the summer season. The T20 Blast represents the shortest format of cricket played at county level. Fernando's signing addresses a gap created by Ali's departure from the squad.

The move represents a mid-season adjustment to Nottinghamshire's bowling resources. Fernando brings international experience from his work with the Sri Lankan national side. The seamer will seek to contribute to Notts Outlaws' progression through the remainder of the campaign.
