2026 MLB ALL-STAR GAME ROSTERS ANNOUNCED
The rosters for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game were officially released on Saturday. Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Ernie Clement of the Toronto Blue Jays were confirmed as starters after leading Phase 1 voting, with Ohtani receiving 3,341,257 votes and Clement receiving 3,232,932 votes. The remaining starting position players were determined through Phase 2 voting, which ran from 30 June to 2 July. Reserves and pitchers were selected via player ballot and choices made by the MLB commissioner's office.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies each had five players selected, the highest total among National League teams. The Dodgers secured four starting positions. In the American League, the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays each had four players selected. Several players earned their tenth All-Star honour or more, whilst numerous first-time selections were also included in the rosters.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays was selected as a starter despite recording what he described as the worst season of his career at the plate to date. Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees also earned a starting position despite not having played since 31 May. Bryce Harper was added to the roster as a "Legend" pick, a new selection category introduced for the 2026 All-Star Game.
