MAN DIES IN COACH AND VAN CRASH IN SOUTH-WEST WALES
A man died and two people sustained injuries following a collision between a coach and a van on the A40 near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, on Friday afternoon. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended the scene at approximately 16:30 BST. According to Dyfed-Powys Police, the van driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The coach driver and a 14-year-old passenger were transported to Glangwili hospital for treatment.
The two injured individuals sustained injuries that police stated are not believed to be life-threatening. Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that the next of kin of the deceased driver have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
