BRAD DALKE SHOOTS 66 ON DP WORLD TOUR DEBUT AT BMW INTERNATIONAL OPEN

FRI 03 JUL 2026 GOLF

Brad Dalke carded a second-round 66 at the BMW International Open in Munich on Friday, positioning himself two shots off the lead at the halfway stage of the tournament. The golfer received a sponsor invitation to compete on the DP World Tour for the first time at Golfclub München Eichenried. Dalke described his opening tee shot as causing him to shake visibly, and stated that seeing his name appear on leaderboards for the first time in professional competition created a nervous but enjoyable experience.

Dalke's first round on Thursday produced a 3-under 69, which included four birdies and one bogey. He nearly achieved an albatross on the par-3 second hole. The 28-year-old, a 2015 Junior PGA Championship winner, recently departed from Good Good Golf and described his mindset entering the week as focused on enjoyment rather than specific competitive goals. He reported that managing distraction from leaderboards proved challenging during play.

Dalke's participation came during a period in which he experienced significant personal difficulties in December 2025, including two miscarriages affecting his wife, monocular blindness, and a septal defect. Despite these circumstances, he continued his competitive golf career. His performance at the BMW International Open placed him inside the cut line and established him as a contender for the tournament title.
