1WIN APPOINTS LUIS SUAREZ AS OFFICIAL WORLD CUP EXPERT

International entertainment brand 1win has appointed Luis Suarez as its official football expert and ambassador for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Throughout the tournament, Suarez will provide match predictions, tactical analysis and expert commentary for 1win's global audience. His insights will be published across 1win's platforms, including BetWave and 1win Markets. Suarez will also create football-focused digital content and social media material for international viewers.

1win stated that Suarez represents "football passion, elite performance, and a deep understanding of the game". The company said it was welcoming him to provide "unique expert content from one of football's most respected figures". Alongside the ambassador appointment, 1win has launched Up In The Air, a football challenge filmed in Brazil. The project saw two footballers on separate hot-air balloons rise 1,000 metres before attempting to pass a football between each other, with content creator Alexandra Chistova observing from a helicopter.

The Up In The Air production required more than two months of preparation and involved a team of over 20 specialists. The project represents one of 1win's most ambitious football-themed entertainment initiatives to date. Both initiatives form part of 1win's broader strategy to engage audiences ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
