BRITISH TRANSPORT POLICE SEEK MAN OVER ALLEGED ASSAULT AT LONDON BRIDGE STATION
British Transport Police have released CCTV footage and issued an appeal to identify a man in connection with an alleged sexual assault at London Bridge station. The incident occurred around 11pm on Saturday 30 May, when a man approached two women waiting in a queue to play an organ at the station. The man is then alleged to have sexually assaulted the two women. Officers are seeking to identify the man from the CCTV images obtained from the station.
The man is described as having a northern accent and potentially being from North East England, according to the police appeal. London Bridge station is a major transport hub in central London serving a high volume of passengers daily. The alleged assault took place in a public area of the station during evening hours.
