ENGLAND FAN TICKETS FOR MEXICO RESOLD FOR UP TO £26,000

Tickets originally purchased by England supporters for Monday's last 16 match against Mexico are being resold on FIFA's official resale portal for up to £26,000 each. The listings represent a significant markup on the original face value of the tickets. The resale activity has taken place on FIFA's dedicated ticket platform, which facilitates secondary market transactions for the tournament.

The match forms part of the knockout stage of the competition. England fans who obtained tickets through official allocation channels are permitted to resell unused tickets via FIFA's authorised system. The portal allows supporters to list tickets at prices they determine, with no specified ceiling on resale values.

The scale of the markup reflects high demand for knockout-stage fixtures in the tournament. Fans unable to secure tickets through official channels have turned to the resale market to obtain access to the match. FIFA's resale portal remains the only authorised channel for secondary ticket transactions for the competition.
