HALF-SISTERS IN HIGH COURT DISPUTE OVER £2.7M NEW FOREST MANSION

FRI 03 JUL 2026

Lindsay Bisiker and her older half-sister Judith Bisiker are in dispute over ownership of Moonhills, a six-bedroom house with stables, tennis court and four acres near Beaulieu in the New Forest. The property was purchased by their father, Jim Bisiker, in 1984. Judith's name alone appears on the title deeds, and she has stated her intention to sell the property on the open market. Lindsay has filed a claim in London's High Court arguing that the house was intended to be held in trust for the whole family, despite Judith's sole legal ownership.

Lindsay states that Judith changed the locks and excluded her from the property in April 2023 whilst she was staying there with her dogs. She owns a £2.3m farm in Devon but says Moonhills remained important to her as a "grounding force" and "home base" during her childhood whilst attending boarding school. Judith has characterised Lindsay's position as an "obsession" with the property. According to court documents, Judith maintains she was justified in changing the locks to prevent Lindsay from obstructing the sale.

Lindsay seeks to purchase the property from Judith at a discount rate to keep it within the family and wishes to move in pending resolution. Judith insists on her right to sell the house freely given that it is registered in her sole name. The case is proceeding through the High Court, with the two sisters now in legal opposition over a property that has remained in the Bisiker family for over 40 years.
