STEVE SALVIN APPOINTED WALES FORWARDS COACH

Steve Salvin has left Exeter to take up a full-time position as forwards coach for Wales. The appointment was made ahead of the WXV competition. Salvin's move represents a strengthening of Wales's backroom coaching team.

Salvin previously worked with Exeter in a coaching capacity. His transition to the Wales role on a permanent basis marks a significant addition to the national team's support staff. The timing of the appointment allows Salvin to prepare the forwards unit before the WXV tournament begins.

Wales confirmed the backroom restructuring as part of preparations for the upcoming competition. Salvin will work alongside the existing Wales coaching structure. The full-time nature of the appointment indicates Wales's commitment to dedicated specialist coaching in the forwards area during the WXV campaign.
