JEFF BRAZIER SAYS HE WANTS TO APOLOGISE TO SON FOR HIDING MENTAL HEALTH...

Jeff Brazier became emotional during an appearance on Pete Wicks' Man Made podcast, stating he wished to apologise to his son Bobby for concealing mental health difficulties over many years. Brazier, 47, said he had been presenting a "fake" display to his family despite struggling internally. He explained that he hoped by showing his emotions publicly, he could demonstrate to Bobby that it was acceptable to express feelings openly, whether through tears or happiness.

Brazier has raised his sons Bobby, 23, and Freddy, 21, as a single father following the death of their mother, Jade Goody, in 2009. The presenter appeared on the podcast during what he described as the final day of a therapeutic retreat. He stated that whilst others on the retreat felt celebratory about their progress, he was experiencing difficulty with a personal matter at home and felt he was "going through the motions" rather than genuinely engaging.

Brazier said he had recently reconnected with Freddy after a period of estrangement, following Freddy's birth of his first child, Isla Jade. The presenter expressed pride in his capacity to demonstrate emotion and stated he hoped his sons would feel validated in sharing their own feelings when needed.
