COLEEN NOLAN CLAIMS ROLF HARRIS TRIED TO KISS HER ON LIPS AGED 10

Coleen Nolan has claimed that Rolf Harris repeatedly attempted to kiss her on the lips when she was 10 years old. Speaking ahead of a new two-part television series about Harris, Nolan discussed the entertainer on the Loose Women panel, where she had known him during her childhood. Nolan stated that she was not fully aware of the significance of his behaviour at the time, but recalled thinking she disliked when he tried to kiss her on the lips. She added that her sisters had noticed his conduct and were not surprised when it later emerged that Harris had committed sexual offences.

Harris was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison in 2014 after being found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault against young girls and women. The conviction followed a criminal investigation into allegations spanning decades. Harris died in 2023 at the age of 93. Nolan's account forms part of broader public discussion surrounding Harris's offences and their impact on those affected.

The revelation comes as renewed media attention focuses on Harris through the forthcoming two-part series. Nolan's disclosure adds to documented accounts of Harris's criminal behaviour that led to his conviction. The case remains a significant example of institutional failures to protect young people from abuse by a prominent public figure.
