ROYAL NAVY MURDERER ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING FOUR BOYS
Allan Grimson, jailed for life in 2001 for murdering two young men, sexually assaulted four other boys and men, Winchester court has been told. Grimson, a former Royal Navy petty officer, was convicted of battering Nicholas Wright and Sion Jenkins to death at his flat. A jury has heard allegations that he sexually assaulted males as young as 14 during the same period in which the murders occurred.
The alleged sexual assaults followed a similar pattern to the circumstances surrounding the two murders, according to evidence presented to the court. Grimson lured his alleged victims to his flat in incidents spanning the era when Wright and Jenkins were killed. The court has been told of accusations involving four separate individuals beyond those two fatal attacks. The alleged offences involved males of varying ages during this timeframe.
The trial continues at Winchester court as the jury considers the allegations against Grimson. The proceedings represent a further examination of conduct by Grimson across multiple decades following his 2001 conviction. The court is hearing evidence relating to offences allegedly committed during the period when the two murders took place.
