AC MILAN SIGN GONCALO RAMOS FROM PSG FOR £60M
AC Milan have signed Portugal forward Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported transfer fee of approximately £60m. The 25-year-old has agreed a contract with the Italian club until 2031. According to Italian media reports, the fee exceeds 70m euros, making this the club's record transfer expenditure.
Ramos scored 45 goals across three seasons at PSG before the move. The signing represents the first major acquisition under manager Ruben Amorim, appointed to replace Massimiliano Allegri after Milan failed to qualify for Champions League football following a poor run of results. Milan's previous record transfer was winger Rafael Leao, who arrived from Lille in 2019 for approximately £42m.
PSG's transfer planning is being overseen by chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, sporting adviser Luis Campos and manager Luis Enrique. The French club won both the Ligue 1 title and a second successive Champions League last season. According to reported plans, PSG may pursue further signings including RB Leipzig midfielder Yan Diomande, whilst midfielder Lee Kang-in and forward Randal Kolo Muani are anticipated to depart the club during the summer transfer window.
