WALES LOSE EXETER LOCK JENKINS TO INJURY FOR SUMMER TESTS

Wales have lost lock Dafydd Jenkins of Exeter for the upcoming summer Tests. The Welsh Rugby Union trimmed their squad following Jenkins's injury. Jenkins had been selected for the Nations Championship competition. His absence represents a significant loss to Wales's second-row options for the fixture list.

The injury to Jenkins forces Wales to reassess their forward pack selection. Exeter confirmed the lock's unavailability for international duty during the summer window. The timing of the injury, coinciding with squad finalisation, required the Welsh Rugby Union to adjust their planning. Second-row depth becomes a consideration as Wales prepare for their upcoming matches.

Wales will proceed with their revised squad for the Nations Championship. The Welsh Rugby Union has completed their trimming process following Jenkins's withdrawal. Selection of a replacement lock remains a matter for the coaching staff. The squad announcement reflects the final composition for the summer Test campaign.
