NORTH CAROLINA MAN LAUNCHES FUNDRAISER FOR PENIS ENLARGEMENT SURGERY
Michael Phillips, a man from North Carolina, has launched a public fundraising campaign to pay for enlargement surgery. Phillips stated online that he has a stretched penile length of 0.38 inches when fully erect, which he says creates difficulties with urination. He wrote that the procedure would allow him to use the restroom more normally and improve his ability to manage his condition without requiring adult incontinence nappies daily.
Phillips, who is 38, described the situation as a source of daily frustration and embarrassment that has affected his confidence and independence, particularly when travelling. He said he had saved as much money as he could but was appealing for public assistance to cover the cost of surgery and injections. According to GoFundMe, which verified the campaign, Phillips had raised more than $9,500 by Friday morning, with a stated goal of $22,000.
Phillips stated that the procedure would not constitute a cure for his condition but could enable him to live with greater dignity and independence. He previously made public claims in late February that he held the world's smallest penis and challenged anyone to prove otherwise. Phillips said the purpose of his challenge was to advocate against body shaming for people living with micropenis, a condition the Cleveland Clinic defines as a stretched penile length of less than 2.67 inches.
