ANTON FERDINAND JOINS HORNCHURCH AS COACH

Anton Ferdinand, a former West Ham defender, has taken a coaching position at Hornchurch, a National League club. Ferdinand joins Robert Lee at the club as part of what the organisation describes as a high-profile appointment. The move marks Ferdinand's entry into a coaching role within professional football.

Hornchurch competes in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. Robert Lee was previously announced as part of the club's backroom staff. Ferdinand's appointment follows this addition to the club's coaching structure, with both moves positioned as significant hires for the organisation.

The club has not disclosed specific details regarding Ferdinand's coaching remit or contract terms. Ferdinand's experience as a professional defender at West Ham will inform his new position. Hornchurch's recruitment of both Lee and Ferdinand signals the club's investment in its coaching and management infrastructure.
