CAITLIN CLARK RULED OUT OF FEVER GAME WITH BACK INJURY

Caitlin Clark will miss Indiana Fever's game against Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday after aggravating a back injury, coach Stephanie White announced. Clark sustained the injury during Wednesday's game against Phoenix Mercury. No timeline for her return has been provided by the team.

The back issue emerged during what was described as a physical contest against Phoenix. Indiana Fever lost that match. The injury is severe enough that Clark will sit out the forthcoming fixture against the Sparks, a decision made by White following medical assessment.

The Fever have not confirmed when Clark might be available for selection again. Her absence represents a significant change to the team's roster for the Saturday match.
