STEPHEN BEAR PLEADS GUILTY TO BREACHING RESTRAINING ORDER

FRI 26 JUN 2026 CRIME

Stephen Bear has admitted breaching a restraining order designed to protect his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison, a Love Island contestant. Bear is scheduled for sentencing at Chelmsford Crown Court next month following his guilty plea. The breach relates to social media posts Bear made after his release from prison, in which he made statements about Harrison and his criminal trial.

Bear was convicted in 2023 of voyeurism and disclosing private sexual photographs and films without consent. He had secretly recorded himself having sex with Harrison and uploaded the footage online. A court sentenced him to 21 months in prison and ordered him to repay £22,305, described as earnings he obtained from sharing the video on OnlyFans. Bear was released from HMP Brixton in January 2024 after serving just over 10 months of his sentence. Following his release, Bear posted repeatedly on social media about Harrison whilst she was pregnant, including photographs of her alongside statements Harrison described as defamatory, leading her to report him to Essex Police.

Harrison declined to attend this week's court hearing, stating that her presence would provide Bear with the attention she said he sought. She told The Sun that Bear had "come back for more" attention after facing legal consequences. Detective Constable Swarv Stafin, who investigated the restraining order breach, condemned Bear's actions. Bear, from Loughton, Essex, faces sentencing in the coming month.
