FORMULA 1 EXTENDS LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX CONTRACT UNTIL 2037

FRI 05 JUN 2026 F1/MOTORSPORT

Formula 1 has extended its agreement to race in Las Vegas until at least 2037. The deal represents a 10-year extension to the existing contract. Las Vegas will remain on the Formula 1 calendar for at least a further decade. The extension confirms one of the sport's newest venues as a long-term fixture on the schedule.

Las Vegas joined the Formula 1 calendar as a modern street circuit race held on and around the famous Strip. The event was positioned as one of the sport's flagship night races in North America. Formula 1 has actively expanded its presence in the United States in recent years, with races also held in Austin and Miami. The Las Vegas Grand Prix quickly became one of the higher-profile events on the calendar following its reintroduction to the schedule.

The extended contract secures Las Vegas as a confirmed destination for teams, sponsors, and broadcasters planning long-term commitments. The agreement gives the city's hospitality and entertainment sectors a guaranteed annual event through 2037. North America now hosts three Formula 1 rounds under confirmed long-term arrangements. The Las Vegas extension forms part of Formula 1's broader strategy to establish stable, multi-year contracts with host venues.
