LINDA COHN RETIRES FROM ESPN AFTER 34 YEARS

MON 22 JUN 2026

Linda Cohn, a long-serving anchor at ESPN, is retiring this month following 34 years with the network. Cohn presented "SportsCenter", the broadcaster's flagship sports news programme. The retirement marks the end of a substantial tenure at the American sports media organisation.

ESPN confirmed Cohn's departure as its longest-serving "SportsCenter" anchor. The presenter's three-and-a-half decades with the network represent a significant period in the organisation's history. Cohn's work on the programme established her as a recognised figure in sports broadcasting during that time.

The broadcaster has not disclosed further details regarding Cohn's retirement plans or any successor arrangements. ESPN did not announce whether coverage of "SportsCenter" would continue under new anchor personnel. The network's statement confirmed only the timing and length of Cohn's service to the organisation.
