OLIVER TREE'S BODY RETURNED TO CALIFORNIA AFTER BRAZIL HELICOPTER CRASH
Oliver Tree's body has been returned to California following his death in a helicopter crash in Brazil. According to a statement posted on his Instagram account on Sunday, the American musician was one of six people killed when two helicopters collided. A spokesperson confirmed that Tree's remains had arrived in the United States and that his family intends to honour his wishes by establishing a foundation bearing his name.
The foundation, titled "Dr. Oliver Tree's Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses", was established according to provisions Tree included in his will before his death. The spokesperson stated that Tree had prepared the foundation structure prior to his passing and that his family would ensure it becomes operational. In April, Tree had publicly discussed his intention to distribute his wealth through charitable means, stating on The Zach Sang Show that his will specified his family would not inherit money from his estate, though he committed to funding his children's education.
The Instagram statement thanked supporters, collaborators and friends for their messages of condolence and tributes to Tree. The spokesperson said the ongoing support was helping Tree's family and collaborators navigate the loss. Tree's legacy, according to the statement, would continue through the foundation and the charitable work it would undertake.
