BROOKLYN BECKHAM PAID $1M FOR DOORDASH ADVERT, REPORT SAYS

SUN 21 JUN 2026

Brooklyn Beckham received approximately $1 million for a DoorDash advertisement in which he alluded to his estrangement from his parents, according to reports. The advert, released this week, features Beckham giving away football match tickets to members of the public. In the commercial, Beckham tells the camera that he is watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home, adding "It's a long story" before ordering a DoorDash delivery driver to distribute the tickets. The apparent reference to his family situation prompted commentary about his decision to reference the dispute in paid promotional content.

Beckham publicly confirmed his estrangement from David and Victoria Beckham in January through an Instagram post. He made allegations that his parents had attempted to damage his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, over a period of years. Beckham claimed his mother called him "evil" during a disagreement about seating arrangements at his 2022 wedding and stated that his mother's actions left him feeling "uncomfortable" and "humiliated" regarding his first dance with his bride. In that same January post, Beckham stated he did not wish to reconcile with his family and said he was "standing up for myself for the first time in my life."

A source quoted in reports characterised the DoorDash advertisement as "a little cheesy" but noted that commercial success indicated Beckham's personal brand remained viable. The reports suggest the advert has drawn criticism from those who view it as capitalising on the family dispute for financial gain. The Beckham family estrangement remains unresolved.
