KANE ATTENDS ELLA LANGLEY CONCERT, LEAVES EARLY FOR CURFEW
Harry Kane, Dan Burn and Jason Steele attended a concert by US country music artist Ella Langley in Independence, Missouri on Friday. The England players were given a day off by manager Thomas Tuchel and used the opportunity to watch Langley perform. Kane and Steele met Langley before the concert, though all three players left early to comply with the team's curfew, missing the final three songs of the set.
Burn, a defender for Newcastle United, stated that Kane is a "big country music fan" and noted that country records feature regularly on the hotel's record player when Kane selects the music. Langley is known for her song Choosin' Texas, which reached the top of the US charts and number 12 in the UK. Burn said the group had previously been unable to attend Langley's performance in West Palm Beach because they would not have returned in time for curfew.
Kane posted photographs from the concert on Instagram following the event, including an image with Langley holding an England shirt. Kane wrote that he was glad to meet Langley and praised her performance. This outing occurred after England won their opening World Cup match 4-2 against Croatia, with Kane scoring twice.
