ROCKSTAR REVEALS GTA 6 COVER ART AND SETS PRE-ORDER DATE FOR JUNE
Rockstar has announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 will begin on 25 June through digital stores including PlayStation Store and select retailers. The developer revealed the game's official cover art in a thirty-second video featuring the protagonists Jason and Lucia alongside additional characters set to appear in the sequel. Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on 19 November on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, following two previous delays from autumn 2025 and May.
The cover art depicts the fictional setting of Leonida, a state inspired by Florida, rendered in the series' signature pop-art style with bright colours and imagery including flamingos, alligators, fast cars, helicopters and motorbikes. The game represents one of the most anticipated releases in gaming to date. Its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto 5, launched in 2013 and ranks as the second best-selling game of all time according to available records.
Gameplay trailers released in 2023 and 2025 have collectively accumulated 446 million views, according to figures provided by the source material. Gaming audiences continue to await a new gameplay trailer for the sixth instalment in the franchise, which would offer further insight into the game's narrative and character development. Rockstar has not yet announced details regarding the timing of additional promotional material.
