KANE SCORES RETAKEN PENALTY AS ENGLAND BEATS CROATIA
Harry Kane put England ahead against Croatia with a retaken penalty kick. Kane's initial attempt was saved by Dominik Livakovic, who was ruled to have left his line prematurely. Kane converted the second penalty to give England a 1-0 lead in the match.
The penalty was awarded after Livakovic's infringement on the first attempt. Football regulations permit a retake when a goalkeeper moves off the goal line before the ball is struck. Kane stepped up to take the second penalty and found the net.
The goal gave England an advantage in the fixture between the two sides.
