DIDDY'S PRISON RELEASE DATE MOVED TO FEBRUARY 2028

Sean "Diddy" Combs's release date from prison has been adjusted to 23 February 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website. Combs is currently incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. His legal team has not provided information explaining the reason for the adjustment. The music mogul was sentenced to 50 months in prison and fined $500,000 in 2025.

Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious charges, including a racketeering charge and two sex trafficking counts. His release date has been adjusted multiple times since his incarceration, with previous dates set for 15 April 2028, 25 April 2028, and 4 June 2028. Combs's legal representatives have filed repeated appeals challenging the conviction and claiming he received unfair treatment at trial.

In April, Combs's lawyers presented arguments before federal appeals court judges requesting the conviction be reversed or that he be freed and resentenced to a shorter term. They argued that films of sexual encounters recorded by Combs constituted protected expressive activity under the First Amendment rather than prostitution. The attorneys contended that the term "prostitution" should be interpreted narrowly to exclude what they characterised as voyeuristic content. The appeals court proceedings remain ongoing.
