KFC LAUNCHES BONELESS CHICKEN MENU OVERHAUL WITH NEW SAUCES

KFC has announced a significant menu restructuring centred on boneless chicken offerings and an expanded sauce range. The fried chicken chain revealed the changes on Monday, introducing over 20 new sauces designed to accompany boneless chicken tenders. The new sauce varieties include Chimichurri Ranch and Hot Honey Habanero, alongside modern adaptations of classic flavours and internationally-inspired options. Scott Mezvinsky, KFC Global CEO, stated the revamp represents "a clear opportunity to set the standard for modern chicken" in the quick-service restaurant sector.

The rollout begins this month in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where nine new sauces will debut alongside the boneless chicken tenders. The United States and Australia will receive these additions later in the summer. KFC is also launching a "Dunked" menu line featuring tenders, wings and sandwiches coated in sauce, with these items already available in South Africa and India. The chain operates 34,000 locations globally.

Beyond chicken products, KFC is expanding its beverage portfolio through a sub-brand called Kwench by KFC, offering Boba Refreshers, sparkling lemonades and iced coffees. These drinks are currently available at select UK and Ireland locations, with permanent rollout to Australia and Canada planned for later this year. The chain will simultaneously introduce redesigned restaurant concepts, including an open-concept location in McKinney, Texas and a two-storey immersive venue in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, alongside refreshed branding across its estate.
